20 Weeks Already!

I have reached the 20 week mark on today! I am half way through this process and am so glad! It does seem as if things are going by extra fast but I know soon as I get used to that things will definitely begin to slow down. I'm starting to feel like I'm getting a little bit of my energy back, just a little bit. I haven't been taking my every day nap as before although I am ready for bed around 8 pm which is early for me. And I feel like I get a lil more done during the week, more than just sleep that is. I have been feeling like such a scatter brain though, I mean just yesterday I really thought it was Friday no one could tell me otherwise. I was dating everything wrong and planning for the weekend until I realized it was just Thursday and then when today is Friday I forgot that. It's pretty bad. We had our sonogram appointment earlier this week, I decided to stop at the Wendy's drive thru for a quick bite to eat, I was in a hurry. So much so that as soon as I gave ...

Change is imminent!

Image
It's a new year and I don't know about anyone else but I'm just ready for a change. I'm not talking about a resolution that will quickly dissipate before the month of January comes to a close but a real change that would not only affect me but everyone that is connected to me. The first thing that had to  change was my mindset and how I saw things, we have a motto at my church; when you change the way you see a thing the way you see a thing will change, I feel like I'm seeing a lot of things differently. 2014 really through me for a loop I can't even lie, especially the end of it. I'm still trying to heal from a lot of it but I thank God that I didn't loose my mind, He is a keeper! December started some new things for us, just a couple anyway. One thing, we moved on our own which was totally awesome! For a while we were staying with family, my husband lost his job a little bit ago. At that time our middle child was suffering from asthma that caused him t...

Happy Thanksgiving!

Image
So it's after 2 am and Hubby and I are up adding some finishing touches to our Thanksgiving meal. I took a very long nap and now I can't sleep any longer and since Hubby's body thinks it's a work day he's no where near sleepy, so what better way to spend the wee hours of the morning than cooking with each other.  Thanksgiving is such a great holiday, it's a time to get together with family and friends and enjoy each other's time. Although we definitely should not wait until the holidays to come together, it is still a great time to just relax with those you love and maybe those you haven't seen in a while.  Whatever the case may be we should definitely use this time and these few days off of work to just enjoy the blessings we often times take for granted. Being able to spend time with those you love, being able to fellowship over a hearty meal and also having a warm and loving home to do all these things with in are truly blessings that some one some wh...

Now that the cat is out of the bag!

Image
So yes the news is finally out! I am with child!! Hubby and I kind of went back and forth about it for a lil bit, first I was on board , I mean in the Captain's quarters and Hubby wasn't even on the ship. Then I moved to the poop deck (don't know exactly where that is but whatever) and Hubby was boarding. Then all of a sudden Hubby was steering the ship and basically dragging me along! Until finally we "We had lift off!" I always called myself "Fertile Mrytle" I mean it really doesn't take much time for my body to make itself ready to conceive. So like seriously I swear once I stopped my birth control like for real I was pregnant with my next ovulation! Lol now I've had a pregnancy "scare" not too long ago when we accidentally lost my birth control, long story, so I was kind of on edge the moment I figured the birth control was out of my system. I actually pin pointed my ovulation and counted down. I may even know my date of conceptio...

My Marriage Rant....

Ok, so , I'm listening to the Kane Show  this morning as I usually do. I can only listen to them when the kids are engrossed in their own conversations on the way to school though, if they are too quiet and listening, they start to ask me questions or I hear them talking amongst themselves and laughing because they heard someone say "butt" or anything else they deem funny. I will never forget the time when Intern John was talking about his first kiss and how either he or the girl had braces and the kiss ended with one of them getting cut and bleeding, my boys went to town! They were giggling and commenting on how crazy this was and OMG he hurt her and she was going to bleed to death and blah, blah, blah. Well, needless to say after that the radio stayed on Kids Place Live the entire ride to school and until they exited the vehicle! Since today, my boys were on 10 the entire ride to school, for whatever reason, I was able to tune in and catch the War of the Roses segment...

It's been forever days! Let's catch up!

Omg! It's been like forever days since I've talked to you all! A lot has gone on these days some things I can't even share just this minute but stay tuned.  Anyway, I did start going to the gym again, it's been about 3 years since I've been in anyone's gym, terrible, I know. It felt really good to get back on the wagon though I must admit. Being In the fitness atmosphere and getting in the zone with head phones blaring has been a rush that I am enjoying. I will say it can be a tad bit intimidating, not knowing how to work the machines but also not wanting to ask for help and seeming amateur. Watching some others who have made the gym their lives sweat and burn gazillions of calories and look at your measley 150 calories and still be proud and accomplished. It is an experience and you really have to carve your own niche in the world of fitness. Although my niche may be tiny, a niche is certainly a niche!  I thank goodness that my mindset is stable, I know that ri...
