Now that the cat is out of the bag!
I always called myself "Fertile Mrytle" I mean it really doesn't take much time for my body to make itself ready to conceive. So like seriously I swear once I stopped my birth control like for real I was pregnant with my next ovulation! Lol now I've had a pregnancy "scare" not too long ago when we accidentally lost my birth control, long story, so I was kind of on edge the moment I figured the birth control was out of my system. I actually pin pointed my ovulation and counted down. I may even know my date of conception, I know my date of fertilization, call me crazy but I believe you can be so in tuned with your body and also experienced as far as how many kids you've already had, that you know when something is up on the inside.
It was kind of a rough road for me going in to all of this lets get pregnant talk, I mean with all that was and is currently going on, and also talking to some of my great friends who of course had concerns, and talking to my family, I was kind of uneasy about the whole idea of it. There were so many pros and just as many cons but ultimately the decision had to be made by Hubby and I, we had the final say. It is a bittersweet thing but more so sweet than bitter and I'm so excited to be on this journey.
It's funny how I realized something was up, I'm on the phone talking to Hubby while he's at work and I'm eating some leftovers, macaroni and cheese and baked chicken. I'm eating when all of a sudden I get a whiff of the chicken and I'm like omg why does this smell spoiled? It can't be spoiled it was just cooked the day before and the chicken was no where near old. I interrupt Hubby, "Babe, I gotta call you back!" He's now worried. I run to the bathroom so nauseous but no vomit. I'm pacing the bathroom like this can only mean one thing. I had brought a test about a week before so I'm debating should I use it or no? I mean I haven't actually missed my period at this point so even if I was it was probably to soon for the test to detect anything. After contemplating this for about 5 minutes, I decide just do it, I mean what's the worst that could happen.
The line on this test was so extra very faint that Hubby thought I was ridiculous. I know what I seen! It was a line!
So 3 tests later and an official missed period we just knew the deed was done. Now the next hurdle was letting family and friends know. Again was uneasy about spreading the news but ecstatic when everyone was happily on board. I mean I thought we were going to get lectures and smh-ing but was absolutely relieved that everyone was excited and all hugs and smiles even a couple screams and bounces.
I can already see that this pregnancy is much much different then the other three so I'm excited and a lil worried (lol) about how this journey will go. I will share as much as I can with you so please enjoy this wonderful journey with us and we prepare for another bun in our oven!!
Until next time!
